How to Submit a Notice of Claimed Copyright Infringement
To report material on Gamedug that you believe infringes your copyright, please send a notification that includes all of the following:1. Authorization and Signature
Provide a physical signature of the developer authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. If a third-party agency is submitting the notice, it must also provide a copy of a "Physical Authorization Letter" showing that the agency is authorized to handle all copyright matters on behalf of the owner.
2. Identification of the Copyrighted Work
Identify the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If a single notification covers multiple copyrighted works on one online site, please provide a representative list of those works on that site.
3. Location of the Allegedly Infringing Material
Include the relevant URLs in the body of the email. This helps us locate the allegedly infringing content promptly.
4. Contact Information
Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party, such as a mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
5. Good Faith Statement
Include a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. Accuracy and Authority Statement
Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. Please note that under Section 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages.
