Traffic Tickets UA - Insurance is a practical government-service app for Ukrainian drivers. It's the first Ukrainian app to follow the 'State in a smartphone' approach, letting you check parking tickets, pay traffic fines, and buy an electronic CTP policy in one place. You can use it in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv, and other cities across Ukraine. That's a real benefit. The first 10 days matter, too, because parking tickets are discounted by 50% during that period.
Traffic Tickets UA - Insurance: Fines and Payment Status
The app's main workflow starts with your vehicle registration number. Enter it, and you'll get an instant report with the make, model, VIN code, engine type, registration city, and year of manufacture. After you pay a fine, the app will show you the payment status automatically. The same data helps calculate the cost of an insurance policy. Because the app connects to official Ukrainian databases, you won't need to visit a bank or keep paper receipts just to prove that a fine was paid.
Electronic CTP policies and vehicle checks
Electronic CTP policies are officially accepted in Ukraine, so you don't have to carry paper documents. If the patrol police stop you, open the Insurance section and show the policy number and validity period, or present the PDF version. I've used the vehicle report mainly before buying OSAGO, and it's enough to confirm the car's details in a few seconds. The national police can check the authenticity of the policy in the public MTIBU database.
Where the app has limits
Still, Traffic Tickets UA - Insurance won't replace every step of the old process. It depends on a stable internet connection, and the 50% discount only applies to parking tickets during the first 10 days. Drivers who want a complete policy archive may still need their insurer's website.
